LumiCube is a professional 3D Printer for dental and jewelry with innovative features to make your work easier and faster.
It took me about 8 months to design this LCD based 3D Printer, starting from the idea, to the final working prototypes ready for manufacturing. This machine features many innovations and 2 different patents are now pending. I did all the work, including:
- software development (The LumiCube has an X86 based board, so it can work standalone). The LumiCube sends an email when the job is done, including a graph featuring the values of 5 different sensors. If the user need more 3d printing resin, just by pressing a button the reseller can be notified;
- Electronic design;
- Mechanical design, ordering of the parts from suppliers, assembling of prototypes, designing new iterations;
- Countless hours of testing, 3D Printing parts with many different resins.
- Taking professional photos of relevant 3d printed objects, setting up photo booth for Macro Photography, that were later used for media / communications / press releases.
